PRIVACY STATEMENT

1. Who we are

CrossFit Amstelveen is a trade name of Hoekstra sport & coaching B.V., Maalderij 21C, 1185 ZB Amstelveen, the Netherlands, KvK 97083445. We are responsible for your personal data. Questions? Email info@crossfitamstelveen.nl or call +31 6 37 25 94 39.

 

2. What data we process

Contact details (name, email, phone, address), membership and booking data, payment data (IBAN, payments, invoices), training data for personal training, health data you report yourself, images, and what you enter on our website.

 

3. Purposes and legal basis

  1. Performing your membership, PT Programme, trial class or appointment, including payments and service emails: performance of the contract.

  2. Keeping our records: legal obligation.

  3. Recording health data to coach you safely: explicit consent.

  4. Recognisable images on our website and social media: consent.

  5. Keeping our website secure and working: legitimate interest.

 

We never sell your data.

 

4. Health and teens

  1. We do not routinely ask about injuries. If you report an injury or complaint and we record it (for example in your PT plan), we only do so with your consent, visible to coaches only.

  2. For Teens (aged 10 to 15) a parent or legal guardian gives consent.

 

5. Who we share data with

  1. SportBit (member administration, bookings, payments, emails)

  2. Wix (website, forms, appointments, web shop)

  3. Rabobank (direct debits and payments)

  4. ClassPass (for bookings made via ClassPass)

  5. WhatsApp/Meta (only if you contact us via WhatsApp)

  6. Our accountant and authorities we are legally required to inform

 

We have data processing agreements with our processors. Processing outside the EU (for example by Wix or Meta) only takes place with appropriate safeguards, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.

 

6. Retention periods

  1. Membership data: up to 2 years after your membership ends.

  2. Financial records: 7 years (legal requirement).

  3. Trial class or enquiry without membership: up to 1 year.

  4. Health data: until your membership or PT Programme ends, or earlier if you withdraw consent.

  5. Images: as long as your consent applies.

 

7. Security and cookies

We protect your data with appropriate measures; only those who need it have access. Our website only uses functional cookies, no tracking or advertising cookies.

 

8. Your rights

You may access, correct, delete or transfer your data, restrict processing, object and withdraw consent. Email your request to info@crossfitamstelveen.nl; you will receive a reply within one month.

 

9. Complaints

Please let us know first. You can also file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl).

 

10. Changes

We may update this statement. The current version is always available on crossfitamstelveen.nl.
